Life Groups are vital to being a part of the body of Christ. They help you develop relationships with other believers, as well as help integrate your relationship with God to your life outside the walls of the church. By meeting in homes across the area, Life Groups provide an enjoyable, relaxing environment for people to develop meaningful relationships that help grow their relationship with God!
Life Groups meet every 1st and 3rd Sunday nights at homes around the area at 6 PM.
How can I get involved?
One of our goals at Crossroads is to help everyone move forward in their spiritual life. Wednesday Life is designed to provide the opportunity to advance in your walk with God, regardless of where you are now.
Wednesday Life consists of a 6-week class session and then we take a 2-3 week break. We still have service during the breaks, everyone just meets together in the sanctuary together instead of breaking out into classes. Wednesday night service starts at 7 PM and everyone is released to class after worship. If you haven’t signed up for a class, you can stay in the main sanctuary for the class that is offered there.
For a list of currently offered Wednesday Life classes, or for more information, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org!
We believe in the importance of teaching our children about the love of God at an early age and aim to give a similar service experience to our children that adults enjoy. Each week every child is welcomed, led in worship, and taught biblical truths on a level they’ll understand through puppets, videos, object lessons, and grade level group times.
Infant & Pre-K – Our Infant & Pre-K ministry is focused on ministering to the heart of every child and helping them in their social, physical, and mental development. We minister not only to the child but to the entire family by allowing parents to be ministered to with confidence knowing their child is being well taken care of.
His Kids – His Kids is our service for children 6 years old through 6th grade. Each service runs in conjunction with our 10:30 Sunday morning service. In His Kids, your child can expect to be a part of services filled with fun, games, friends, video clips, awesome worship, and most importantly, experience Jesus while learning foundational Biblical truths.
Royal Rangers – Royal Rangers meets every Wednesday night at 7 PM and is a ministry that reaches out to boys and teaches them to live for Christ. Our goal is to mentor boys to become Godly men. Royal Rangers helps boys to develop godly character and teaches them about God’s Word while giving them practical life skills.
Missionettes/MPACT – Missionettes is a discipleship program for girls that meets each Wednesday night at 7 PM. This program teaches girls things like Godly character, life skills, and Bible knowledge. Our desire is for our Missionettes to have fun and build relationships with each other as well as be mentored by mature women of faith.
Encounter Student Ministries is our 7th – 12th grade youth ministry that meets every Wednesday night at 7:00 PM. In everything we do, we look to Encounter God! Our vision and purpose is for us to be a family of believers who encounter God through the Word, through worship, and through our every day walk! Our desire is to have students leave our youth ministry having built meaningful relationships with each other and with Jesus Christ that will last a lifetime! We know that being a teenager isn’t always fun or easy, but here at Encounter we want you to know you’re a part of a family of believers who are far from perfect, but striving to get closer to a perfect God! So come as you are. We would love for you to be a part of us! Check us out on Facebook and Instagram to learn more about who we are or visit Encounter’s website at: encounteryouth.org
How can I get involved?
There are lots of ways that you can get plugged in at Encounter. Check out all the different ways you can get involved!
Crews are the small groups of Encounter where students of all ages, backgrounds, and races are able to find their places! We understand that every student is looking to belong, and Crews are how we make this happen. Students go beyond acquaintances and build meaningful Christ-centered relationships. Crews meet on the Every Sunday evenings of every month during the school year. We have 7 groups; 2 in Cedar Hill, 3 in Duncanville and 1 in Desoto. We want you to start building those relationships, so email us at email@example.com and join a Crew today!
We know that as a teenager it is not always easy to live out a Christian walk, so our heart is that through internship, students are able to learn how to serve and minister in a variety of ways in order to better establish their faith and therefore become better disciples of Jesus Christ. Internship will cause you to roll up your sleeves, press in to Jesus, and move to a place you’ve never been before in your spiritual journey.
Fine arts is a program that allows students to discover, develop, and deploy their gifts and talents they have been given for God’s glory. This program is a great way for students to get involved and build relationships with other students while developing their gifts God has given them. All students who are interested are welcome to check it out and get involved! For more information on any of these ways to get involved, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
What can I expect in a service?

Music & Worship
Worship is at the core of who we are at Crossroads. Our meetings begin with singing several songs of exuberant and free praise. Our hope is that you’ll feel the presence of God as we corporately turn toward Him.
If you are a worshipper, musician or if you are interested in media and production and would like to get involved, please contact Pastor Jason Hadden at firstname.lastname@example.org.

Helping Men Realize Their Role.
Men’s Ministries is to help men realize their role in the local church, their homes, work place, and wherever they may go. We believe it is our responsibility to move into a greater role of leadership in these areas of our lives as God directs us, and at Crossroads, our men are taking the challenge.
We have seen marriages restored, men healed, employment opportunities open up, and men allowing the Holy Spirit to make them bold – Presbyter Gordon Butler
How can I get involved?
Women Ministering to Women.
Women’s Ministries is about connecting with women of all ages and backgrounds, strengthening each other, and serving the Lord together. It’s about coming together to grow in our relationship with the Lord and our relationship with each other. Our purpose is to help women feel connected and loved. Many women often feel disconnected and alone, and we want to share with them who they are in Christ and love and encourage them. We share experiences, pray together and give hope to each other.
How can I get involved?
At Crossroads of Life we realize the importance of seniors to the ministry of the church. Seniors are a vital part of the body of Christ. They bring strength to the body through their wisdom, support and prayer. They have a lot of love to give and have genuine hearts for the Lord.
The Senior’s Ministry, Caleb’s, meets monthly on the 3rd Thursday at 12:00 PM in the South Wing in rooms A2/A3. At Caleb’s lunches you will enjoy…
- Fellowship and prayer
- A good home-cooked meal together with friends
- A time to identify with and draw strength from other seniors
